Maglera Doe Boy Mourns Lifelong Friend’s Passing To Gun Violence. While revelling in his current triumphs within the music industry, Maglera Doe Boy hasn’t been without his obstacles on the path to achieving his dreams.
Throughout his accomplishments, the rapper has found unwavering support from his Reitz community. However, the unfortunate reality of gun violence, a topic he frequently addresses in his music, hit close to home with the passing of one of his longtime friends.
Taking to Instagram, the Makazana hitmaker poured out heartfelt words of tribute to his dear friend Percy, affectionately known as Slash. Through a poignant post, Maglera honoured the memories they shared, reflecting on their bond and the profound impact Percy had on his life.
“Rest in Peace Slash. This is Slash. His real name is Percy. Loved me so much that I held his hand when we took this image to show that link. Anybody who is a fan from the beginning knows he’s been in my life for the longest of time,” wrote Maglera Doe Boy.
He continued; “how he was monumental in my journey in the township him and I grew up in. We lost him last week to gun violence back at home. But his memory lives forever because I got to spend time with him this past festive and when we did this shoot.
