Rashid Kay Shares Throwback Photo Of Him, Big Zulu, Ginger Trill and Gigi Lamayne. Rashid Kay has been instrumental in the growth of SA hip-hop. Being the creative director of the Back To The City and the SA Hip Hop Awards he has seen everybody’s come up.
Rashid Kay took to twitter to share a throwback photo of him, and rappers Big Zulu, Ginger Trill, and Gigi Lamayne. The picture is from when the four of them appeared on Mzansi Magic’s old show ‘Ka Ching’.
He shared the photo when DJ Lemonka mentioned that he has been skinny and also commented on Rashid Kay being skinny. Rashid tweeted, “Look at Big Zulu, Gigi, Ginger and me. I’m the only one who’s still skinny.”
The Metro FM DJ also tweeted a a video of the Mali Eningi smash hitmaker performing at Back To The City in 2013. The photo of Big Zulu is such a throwback! Fans might not even recognize the star!

Big Zulu has made headlines of his song Mali Eningi featuring IntabaYaseDubai and Riky Rick being the biggest song in South Africa for 2020. He recently celebrated his sophomore album Uncqongoshe Wongqongqoshe going gold. The 11-track album was released in 2019 and received the certification in February 2021.
