Reason On What Happened To His 3 Year Old Feature With Shane Eagle. Reason‘s feature list includes a number of South African heavyweights, from AKA, Ginger Trill to pH Raw X and Sibongile Khumalo. The rapper has always won fans over with his powerful lyricism and impactful tunes. With his three albums, Reason has definitely influenced the SA Hip-Hop game.
The Rigorous rapper recently took to twitter to answer a fan’s question about what happened to his 3 year old feature with Shane Eagle. Reason responded, mentioning that he had actually recently found the track and had thoughts of reviving it if Shane Eagle was down too.
His tweet read, “Actually. I found that track this week. I thought of reviving it but I’m not sure if Shane Eagle would be keen. It’s like… 3 years old“.
The two rappers have only appeared on the same song once, on DJ Switch’s track Now Or Never that also featured ProVerb and Kwesta.
Reason has been quiet and keeping his head down since the release of his last album Azania in 2018. He did however release a single Satan O Wele featuring Boity and recently appeared on Southside Mohammed’s new single Nobody Really Safe, produced by 808x.
He previously mentioned that he took some time out and dedicated his 2020 to uplifting and songwriting for a bunch of upcoming artists. Reason was involved in the making of Boity’s debut EP 4436 alongside pH Raw X and did features with Dibi, Ason, Faith K, and Riah Skitz.
It seems as Reason plans to keep his head down for a while, while he focuses on developing a new wave of artists.
Reason was also recently announced as an actor on SABC 1’s new show uBettina Wethu set to hit screens in April. This will be Reason’s second time on television after his first appearance on Mthunzini.
