Emtee: “It’s Hard To Respect Somebody Who’s Always Zoned Out”. Emtee is one SA Hip Hop star who has gone through tough times in the industry. The award winning rapper has since picked himself up and dusted himself off with aims to become one of the greatest rappers in the country.

Kgomotso specifically asked the rapper if he ever thought he was out of control in his life and that he should tone it down.
The Laqasha rapper responded saying that he felt like having to let go of certain habits was for him to be respected in the industry.
“Well for me, it’s like.. I feel like me having to you know let go of certain habits was basically just for me to be respected cause it’s hard to respect somebody who’s always zoned out. And people hardly get the whole you, so it’s like for me I found that has remedy… and that came as a downside because in this industry we’re supposed to be social you know? Talk to people and I’m not there and I’ve never been so that was a downside to it.“
“And it’s been a lot of you know, learning curves that I’ve had. You know reality checks, like being involved in more than three four accidents stuff like that. So I felt like yeah, it’s about time I tone it down you know and sort of lead by example like how I always wanted to do as a kid you know watching your idols do this and they do all the positive things” He explained.
