“Insinuations And Innuendos Made On My Personhood Have Made It Even More Difficult To Process” AKA Breaks His Silence Since Losing His Fiancée. On the 11th of April 2021 tragedy struck South Africa. AKA‘s fiancée Nellie Tembe passed away in Cape Town after it was reported that she fell from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub Hotel in the city’s CBD. After only hearing from the Forbes and Tembe families, the award winning rapper is ready to break his silence.

How AKA Responded To A Fan Asking Him For A 'Life Changing' Photo With Him

AKA‘s management T Effect Global, took to their twitter page to release a statement from the rapper himself. In the statement the Finessin’ rapper says that he misses Nellie so much and he his heartbroken at the unfulfilled life the two planned together. He also mentions that every day feels like a mountain to climb.

He continues to mention that the loss of his fiancée has taken a great toll on him emotionally and physically and that insinuations and innuendos made on his personhood have made it difficult for him to process.

Insinuations and innuendos made on my personhood have made it even more difficult to process and the strain of our families have taken is unspeakable – which is why at this time I retreat to honour my journey, praying that the moments of stillness my bring me closer to some clarity.” He says in the statement.

The rapper expressed gratitude to everyone that has supported him through this time, including his parents, Nellie’s father, his business associates and industry peers. He lastly thanks his fans for their support.

He says that he has entrusted his team to take over his affairs in the public domain and on all his social media platforms and asks that everyone respect his privacy during this time.
