Uncle Vinny recently created a massive buzz on Twitter when he shut down the streets of Braamfontein in Johannesburg where he held his 19th birthday celebration with performances from Riky Rick, DBN Gogo, Major League DJz, LucasRaps, Costa Titch and more.
Members of the SA Hip Hop community added to the noise on social media praising Uncle Vinny for his influence on South African youth culture and for being able to bring thousands of people in to see him. Award winning rapper Cassper was one of the voices that praised Uncle Vinny’s influence and named him a legend! Critics challenged Cassper saying that he was jealous and he was hating on Vinny.
The two met up where Cassper said to Vinny that people are saying that he’s hating on him. Vinny responded to Cassper saying “Ah, you can’t hate on me, you know people on Twitter eish.”

When critics challenged Cassper for calling Uncle Vinny a legend on twitter he clapped back at them saying that Vinny has managed to shake the culture and to see what he has grown into today.
