YoungstaCPT Gives A Shoutout To DJ Ready D For Pioneering SA Hip Hop. The SA Hip Hop genre has has grown immensly over the years that it has been active in the industry. There are a few names that often come up when one speaks of how the genre grew and became as big as it is today, and Youngsta has one that deserves a solid mention.

The For Coloured Girls rapper recently took to twitter to give a shoutout to award winning DJ, DJ Ready D for pioneering SA Hip Hop. In his tweet, Youngsta writes that DJ Ready D scarified everything during the 70s and 80s and during Apartheid to make music with a message.

“I just wanna send flowers to DJ Ready D while we here! No he didn’t invent Amapiano, he just pioneered SA HIP HOP since the 70s/80s during Apartheid & sacrificed everything to make music with a message & at age 50 he’s still the best DJ in Africa! Honor him coz he’s deserves it.“.

Other members of SA Hip Hop could not agree with Youngsta more as the commented under his tweet. DJ Switch wrote, “Blessed to the DJ“, while DJ Zan D named him the greatest of all time!

Nasty C’s DJ Audio Marc also gave props to the Cape Town based DJ, while DJ Jawz named him a legend and said that he is such a humble guy. He also reminisced on when he used to record DJ Ready D’s mixes on Phat Joe’s morning show on YFM.

YoungstaCPT has started 2021 on an exceptional note by releasing his collaboration with Shane Eagle AMMO that many of their fans thoroughly enjoyed. When asked if he has any upcoming music that fans can expect for 2021 he mentioned that he has bodies but the worst part about releasing music these days is that most people don’t really appreciate the art anymore.
