DJ Mr X Drops ‘Asambe’ Music Video Featuring K.O, Loki, Roiii and Cassper Nyovest. DJ Mr X recently joined Skhanda World as their most recent artist. The DJ was added to the Skhanda World roster in April and teamed up with only the best to drop the first Skhanda World single of 2021.
DJ Mr X dropped Asambe in April and fans have been raving about it. He took to twitter to share the release of his music video for Asambe featuring most of Skhanda World’s roster and Family Tree CEO Cassper Nyovest. His tweet read, “#ASAMBE ft K.O Cassper Nyovest, Loki, Roiii OUT NOW!!!“. He also shared the links to the music video and to the song itself.
The track was produced by star producer Makwa and directed and shot by Ofentse Mwase who has contributed a lot to SA Hip Hop music videos and collaborated with some of SA’s top rappers. The video has only been released for less than a day and is already on 6.7k views. All the rappers are dressed in the colourful Skhanda World merchandise from top to bottom.
In an interview with Kgomotso Meso, K.O explained how DJ Mr X came to be apart of Skhanda World. He explained that Ma-E played a very important role in getting the DJ on board. Ma-E acts as a scout for the label and mentioned him as the reason for connecting with DJ Mr X. Ma-E is also how vocalist Just Bheki joined the label.
DJ Mr X was the first artist from Skhanda to drop followed by K.O who dropped K:HOVA and Loki who dropped his single Qoloqolo. Just Bheki will be the next artist to drop followed by Roiii. uGogo hitmaker Ma-E will be the last one on the roster to drop his single. K.O has promised that Skhanda World is going to be a big story in 2021!
