NOTA has come out via a Twitter post and denounced artists who are making tribute songs for Riky for their own personal gains and traction. In the same post, the acclaimed music mogul also credited Riky for being a musical genius and a father who taught everyone in the game family values.

Please refrain from making any further tribute songs or trying to profit off our brother’s recent passing… He was a musical genius who wanted to make one classic album then leave it at that. He came to teach us Family Values. He left having paid the price for fathering the game!” Tweeted NOTA.

Big Zulu has emerged to be the first hip hop artist to pen a heartwarming tribute song for Riky Rick. This came after the Nkabi Records founder shed tears during an Instagram live expressing his emotions towards Riky’s tragic passing.

The Imali Eningi hitmaker released a tribute song for Riky Rick “Lala Ngoxolo” featuring  Mduduzi Ncube and Siya Ntuli. The song has received a very good reception as SA hip hop honours the life of Boss Zonke.
