AKA Gives Clarity On His “Beef” With Burna Boy

AKA Gives Clarity On His “Beef” With Burna Boy. Having a beef in the music industry between artists is a long-standing tradition. It is up to the artists to know when to let go of the beef, but the rage will continue if one is unwilling to let go.

AKA is one of the South African rappers who has been involved in numerous kinds of beef in the game, but the rapper appears to be turning a corner and is willing to call a truce with his peers. Following Burna Boy’s recent visit to South Ah for his performance at the DSTV Delicious concert, fans have been calling for an AKA and Burna Boy collaboration live on stage.

The Grammy Award-winning musician performed in South Africa for the first time in over three years, and it was historic, with over 100,000 people in attendance. He performed several of his hit songs, including All Eyes On Me, a collaboration with AKA. As Burna sang the aforementioned song, the audience erupted in applause.

Upon the success of the DStv Delicious SA event, a few people took to Twitter and urged AKA and Burna Boy to end their feud—which was brought on by the xenophobic conflict between Nigeria and South Africa in 2020. “Can you at @akaworldwide squash the beef. We need you both to perform “All eyes on me” the next time you come through for your concert,” a tweep wrote.

In response, AKA went on and made it clear that he has nothing against Burna Boy. “I have no problem with Burna at all. God Bless my brother,” Supa Mega wrote.

AKA has also spoken about his relationship with Cassper Nyovest. The rapper made it known that he regrets saying some of the things he said to the self-proclaimed Don Billiato. He also made it clear that he has no animosity or negative thoughts toward his fellow artist.

“I don’t hate him, I don’t have any feelings anymore they’re all gone like butterflies and I have put different feelings inside myself, feelings of gratitude for just being alive,” he said.
