How SA Rappers Reacted To Cassper’s R100M Deal. Cassper Nyovest is well on his way to becoming SA Hip Hop’s first Billionaire. Slowly but surely the rapper has been making his way on top and his work is certainly starting to pay off.
The rapper signed a R100M Legacy Deal With Drip Footwear’s CEO Lekau Sehoana on the 8th of June 2021 and invited close friends and colleagues to be apart of the day at The Leonardo Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. Cassper also received plenty of congratulations from his industry peers whilst social media went abuzz about the news.
SA rappers were amongst the people who congratulated the Good For That rapper on his new deal. In her message to Cassper, One by One hitmaker Rouge noted that it was massive saying that’s how generational wealth is created.
DJ D Double D also congratulated Cassper on the remarkable deal.
Zakwe and Rashid Kay also sent Cassper a congratulations message with Rashid Kay saying that the deal is a milestone.
Cassper’s Instagram also flooded with a few SA rappers commenting on his post. L-Tido congratulated him and jokingly asked Cassper for money. He asked Cassper for R1000 and Cassper responded saying it’s a bit too much for them but he could possibly part ways with R500.
DJ Dimplez and DJ Milkshake also expressed their congratulations to Cassper.
Although the response was positive for the most part, some Twitter users had a few questions and concerns about the deal seeing as there wasn’t a lot of information given about it. Tweeps posed various questions about the deal. Questions arose about Drip Footwear’s valuation and what exactly Cassper would benefit from the deal.
Concerns also arose about selling it as a R100M deal but fans of Cassper shut down any negativity towards it.
