Scoop Calls Joburg People Out And Says Nothing About Them Is Real. Scoop Makhathini has grown to become one of the most influential people in SA Hip Hop culture even though he doesn’t rap. Scoop’s presence in and around the industry has lead him to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in the industry. Some fans always have mixed reviews about his commentary but make their own comments towards it nonetheless.

Scoop recently took to his Instagram page to call out everybody residing in Joburg, calling them fake! He mentions in his post that nothing about them is real. It’s uncertain about what exactly sparked Scoop to post this on his Instagram so one could only speculate about what triggered his words.

“Yall JHB people have a lot of things and none of the things you have are real. Not one real thing or person or people around yall” He wrote.

In his follow up post he wrote words that resembled a poem that read, “Real Food, They Don’t Want That. Real Connections, They Don’t Want That. Real Love, They Don’t Want That. Slowly but surely writing your own death certificate from body to soul. Hope you at least have a real funeral“.

Scoop has been in some hot water lately after he trended for allegedly telling podcaster Rea Gopane that AKA is on drugs and was introduced to them by Bonang Matheba. Bonang acted fast on the allegation, serving Gopane with letters from her lawyers and demanding R500K from him. She mentioned on twitter that what she sent Gopane’s way will be going Scoop’s way too!

Scoop himself has not commented on the claims made by Gopane and has kept to himself about the matter, however he has been on everybody’s lips because of the controversy.
