Zakwe And Duncan Drop Long Awaited Visuals For ‘Kapteni’ Featuring Kwesta. SAMA award nominees Zakwe & Duncan blew SA Hip Hop away with the self titled album they dropped in 2020. The heavyweight lyricists had only released two set of visuals from the project and are ready to produce the third set.

Zakwe And Duncan Release Music Video For Their Track Side D

Zakwe took to his Twitter page to finally announce the release of his and Duncan’s collaboration Kapteni featuring Kwesta. After teasing the visuals not so long ago, they are finally ready and fans could not be more excited for the drop. He simply tweeted “Zakwe & Duncan ft Kwesta KAPTENI” in his announcement of the music video.

Kapteni was one of the lead singles off the duo’s album. The visuals were directed by Motion Billy and feature an appearance from fellow rapper Big Zulu.

This is their third music video from their self titled album release after the release of AMA Level featuring Assessa & Just Bheki and Side D released earlier in the year. The pair’s 14-track album features some of SA’s top artists including DJ Tira, K.O and Q Twins. The album was released under DJ Tira’s Afrotrainment label.

The two rappers are up for Best Hip Hop album at the 27th annual SAMAs. They are up against Nadia Nakai, Boity, Nasty C, and Yanga Chief. Zakwe is no stranger to being a SAMA nominee and has been nominated in the Album Of The Year and Best Newcomer categories amongst others. He has also won the Best Lyricist Award at the SA Hip Hop awards in 2012.

Duncan bagged his first award in 2015 at the Metro FM Awards for the remix of his single Tsiki Tsiki. He has also been nominated at the SAMA awards twice in 2014.
