At the launch of his album, Emtee was interviewed by popular online magazine ZkhiphaniTV about everything related to the album itself. The rapper was specifically asked about how his mental state was in the process of making the album. Emtee explained that, he wasn’t in the best mental state when he made the album.

No cap, I was in a very unstable state of mind when I made it but I’m just grateful that everything was from the heart you know and it really spoke life into what was really happening at the time, and just prior to that. And also tryna prophecy my future, type thing“. Emtee mentioned.

The 18-track album has done amazingly with Emtee securing the support of SA Hip Hop on his release with rappers, with Rouge, JR and Chad Da Don loving the album. Soon after the album dropped, it shot up to number one on the Apple Music Hip-Hop charts with A-Reece’s Today’s Tragedy, Tomorrow’s Memory: The Mixtape taking the second spot.

After seeing that he has secured the number one spot he reacted to it saying that people should dare tell him that he bought the spot after calling him broke.

The album only has a few features with appearances from Moozlie, J-Smash, and Emtee Records signees Flash iKumkani and Lolli Native. Moozlie mentioned that she wrote her verse for the album during the toughest years of her life but is grateful for Emtee seeing past everything.

Emtee has previously mentioned that he plans to release music videos for Johustleburg and iThemba but has not announced any release dates for the videos.
