Not only is his music currently trending on the charts, but Blxckie is also racking up noteworthy achievements. Blxckie is constantly proving his worth in SA hip hop and his debut album B4Now has certified him as a solid key player in the game. The 21-year-old has now passed a new milestone adding to his growing portfolio of achievements.
Taking to social media, Blxckie shared the good news with his followers. “Just passed a new Milestone on @AppleMusic.” wrote Blxckie along with an image that read “Blxckie 5 million all-time plays on Apple Music.” This is not the first time Blxckie is achieving success on Apple Music. The music streaming platform in July named the rapper the star of Apple Music’s Africa Rising Campaign.
Blxckie is a rapper, who is confident and knows what he wants when it comes to his career and he always aims to be the best. During an episode of Riky Rick’s podcast LAB LIVE, Blxckie shared, that “In the studio, I always gotta come up with the best. On social media, I gotta be the best. Everything has to be the best before I even pull up on stage. You need to be the best … and I’m working, dawg, I’m working.”
The rapper is definitely working hard and is even gearing up to drop the deluxe version of his debut album. The Sika rapper had previously hinted to his followers that he would be dropping a deluxe version of his successful album and now it seems that this is truly something he was working on. B4Now was dropped on 21 May 2021 and consisted of 12 tracks with features from Flvme, Lucasraps and Nasty C.
Blxckie has shared that B4NOWDLX will drop on August 13 and will have 8 new songs added to the original tracklist. “I appreciate everyone that’s following my story and listening to izingoma zami, y’all really changing impilo yami for the better. theres still so much i want to say, theres still so much i want to do.. all for you,” he shared on social media.
