Cassper Nyovest is working very hard at perfecting his boxing skills and is training to become better at the hobby, he picked up during lockdown. The rapper has been very vocal with his fans and followers about his boxing journey and love for the sport.
The rapper is now back at the gym and is breaking a sweat in an effort to lose a little bit of weight. He even told his followers that he wished, he was training for an actual fight but that’s currently on hold until he gets a worthy opponent. Cassper publicly shared his hopes for a celebrity boxing match to take place, with him against another famous person, however finding an opponent is easier said than done.
Cassper took to social media and shared a video of himself at the gym, inside the boxing ring, training very hard. “Training in my 990s. The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn or trained in. Very very light, even forgot I was wearing shoes. Felt like a barefooted beast!!!! #RF990. @rootoffame” he captioned his video.
The video has received several likes and comments praising the rapper’s techniques. Cassper later shared that the video on Instagram had received 42 000 likes at the time of his tweet, whilst the numbers are impressive, the people who liked the video had Cassper more excited.
Cassper shared that Australian boxer George Kambosos, former American footballer Ashley Cain and Mike Tyson’s sparring partner had viewed his video. “George Kambosos, Ashley Cain, Mike Russell who is Mike Tyson Sparring partner and Mike Tyson Fan Page liked my boxing clip that j posted today on Instagram. I was soooo hype when I saw that!!! It’s sitting on 42 000 k likes as I type this. Feels good to be back in the gym,” he wrote on Twitter.
Cassper was meant to go head to head with DJ, Prince Kaybee in the ring, however, plans for that fight had to be scrapped after parties involved could not reach an agreement. After Cassper told Prince Kaybee to sign the contract for the fight, the producer revealed his demands. Prince Kaybee shared on Twitter, that he wanted R 2.5 million to participate in the fight and not the R350K he was offered. Cassper shared on Twitter that the fight would no longer be going forward as Prince Kaybee “is delusional with his demands”.
