“Nasty Got What He Deserved,” Nota On Americans Allegedly Not Liking Nasty C

“Nasty Got What He Deserved,” Nota On Americans Allegedly Not Liking Nasty C. Hip Hop insider Nota had a lot to say about rapper Nasty C on an episode of his YouTube show, Everybody Hates Nota. In the episode, Nota and Amy Zulu talk about Nasty C not being welcomed in the States. Nota gives his take as to why he thinks the South African rapper, got what he deserved when to him allegedly not be well received in the country.

Amy Zulu, tells Nota that an American allegedly told Nasty C that he is not welcome in Atlanta or America. Nota exclaims that he likes that guy and goes on to say he supports the guy’s statement. The outspoken personality then goes on to explain why he understands why he thinks Americans are scared of Africans. Nota explains that Americans are not about to let a person who comes from a better position in terms of being aware of their culture, roots, language and traditions.

Nota Baloyi Apologizes To Nasty C For The Comments He Made About His 'Zulu Man With Some Power' Album

Nota says “It’s the same thing as xenophobia here. We have an advantage over African descendants of slaves. When we go to American and see African Americans suffering, those people suffer from the fact that they were taken from here. We sold them, we sold them, we fellow Africans sold. Africans sold their own people to the slave trade. They go over there, they build the biggest economy in the world and everything else and they’ve got nothing to show for it, in the majority.

He then adds, “For me, I understand where that comes from, I listen to that with empathy but it’s exactly what I thought would happen to Nasty. He’s going to go over there and they are going to try and kick him out and to all these kids who think you guys are going to come from Africa. Where you’ve got your roots, you’ve got your tradition you’ve got your culture, you’ve got your language, you’ve got everything that slaves don’t have.

Then you going to take advantage of that leg up and take advantage of the fact that there is a movement to basically redress the past imbalances that happened at the establishment of the united states of America. To advantage people of colour and in particular black people but African Americans specifically and not Africans. There is a lot of Africans taking advantage of the fact that they are black and can get ahead in America and you are going to get resistance to that because the African Americans who were there built that country.

They are going to be upset and they are going to look at you with some level of contempt and that’s exactly what I was warning Nasty about when I said yes okay fine, and congratulations to him for best hip hop at the SAMAs for Zulu Man With Some Power, but at the end of the day you are not Big Zulu bro. You’re not Big Zulu when Big Zulu goes to the states,

Amy adds “they gonna welcome him because his being himself” Nota continues to say “that’s it!” Amy then continues to say, “it’s like Sjava when he went to the BET Awards, he was dressed,” Nota once again adds, “that’s it! Nasty got what he deserved and then everyone’s like his using the K-word. Let me tell you how many young South Africans, how many of you young South African kids use the N-word”
