Rashid Kay Claims Reason Is DJ Maphorisa’s Ghostwriter. DJ Maphorisa is causing havoc in the streets, all because of his latest hit song Izolo. The popular DJ is used to trending for making good music but this time, he is trending because of his rap skills on the track Izolo. Lawd Porry’s alter ego, Madumane is the man who DJ Maphorisa becomes when he steps behind the mic and on his latest song, he has delivered straight heat.
Madumane takes the mic on the track, Izolo and has impressed the streets with the verse. Izolo is by the hit producer and Tyler ICU, the track features Daliwonga, Visca and Madumane on the vocals. The track comes from Tyler ICU and DJ Maphorisa 3 piece EP, Banyana. Recently the visuals for the hit song were released, creating even more hype around the song, especially Madumane’s verse.
Hip Hop artist, Rashid Kay took to Twitter to thank rapper Reason for ghostwriting the hot verse. Rashid retweeted a tweet that said Madumane’s part on the song is “verse of the year”. In his tweet, Rashid said “Dankie @ReasonHD for the ghostwriting”. Rashid then raised speculation that Reason is the man who wrote Madumane’s verse. Reason and DJ Maphorisa recently dropped a song together Khanda Shisa, which also makes fans think it is possible that he wrote the verse.
However, Vyno Miller who is signed to DJ Maphorisa’s label corrected Rashid on his tweet and said that Reason did not write the verse. A tweep than asked Vyno Miller who did write the verse, to which he responded that tweep should “stop trying to figure out things that ruin the fun” and should just give Madumane his credit.
Madumane has been praised by his fans and hip hop industry individuals such as AKA and Riky Rick for his fire bars and have even speculated that Madumane has a ghostwriter. Riky Rick had shared, Maphorisa’s verse on his Instagram stories and wrote “@djmaphorisa verse of the year”, AKA also did the same and simply wrote “bars”. Madumane is enjoying rapping, he even responded to a tweet that listed SA’s top rappers and said “Sbwl one day is one day”, showing that he is not about to stop rapping.
