South Ah hip hop artists have been hard at work cooking up new music and the releases that are being dropped are pure heat, proving that are working overtime to give their fans nothing but hits. Some of the biggest names in hip hop, such as Gemini Major, Yanga Chief and Die Mondez have dropped a new musical offering for their fans to enjoy. Each release is different but they all represent the diversity found in the SA hip hop genre.

It is very difficult for a hip hop fan to support the statement, hip hop is dead, especially when so many artists, in the game, are dropping projects. Collaborations are currently big in the genre and several artists are teaming up with each other to work on music. Hip hop music in SA is definitely evolving especially with the rise of new school rappers and artists are not letting the standard slip especially when it comes to production.

Yanga Chief has finally dropped his highly anticipated collaboration with new kids on the block, 25K and Blxckie. The award-winning rapper dropped the visuals for the track on MTV Base’s Spanking New Premier and creating more buzz around his project. Yanga has however not yet dropped the track on digital platforms yet. His fans have pleaded with him to make the song available for them to jam to.

Una Rams ft Blxckie – btb

The single is taken from Una Ram’s upcoming EP, Hold me when it’s cold: a mixtape. Rising star Blxckie features on the ‘come thru’ anthem. “Blxckie’s versatility and delivery on ‘btb’ is unmatched,” said Rams about the Hold hitmakers verse on the song. The song is produced by Rillo, who made sure the song had a playful yet sexy vibe to it.

Bravo Le Roux – International Gubevu (Album)

The Khayelitsha native for his album enlists some of the best artists in the game as features. For the features, Bravo pulled out the big guns as he has YoungstaCPT, Phantom Steeze, Maglera Doe Boy, Yanga Chief, Tshezii, Lxrd Phakzah and SiyaMetane on the album. Bravo has thanked his fans for embracing his music and has promised to drop more content from the album.

Die Mondez has dropped a new single from his upcoming album. The title of the track is When I’m Dead and for the track, he has collaborated with Blxckie and Flvme. The track is produced by S.X.M and Big Les For Real and it was mixed and mastered by Zoocci Coke Dope. Die Mondez also shared that his album, In The Trap, is also available for pre-order, the album drops on September 15.
