Here’s Why Moozlie Reportedly Lost Out On A Big Cruz Vodka Contract

Here’s Why Moozlie Reportedly Lost Out On A Big Cruz Vodka Contract. Rapper and TV presenter Moozlie has suffered quite the blow as her big deal Cruz Vodka has been cancelled. Sunday World has reported that the Vatel hitmaker’s contract was cancelled after the rapper posted a beer brand on her social media platforms. Moozlie partnered with the popular Vodka brand last year in September. She recently posted content from beer brand, Castle Lite on social media which did not sit well with Cruz Vodka.

Sources close to the situation allege that Moozlie was unaware that the finer details of her contract stipulated that she was not allowed to post with other alcohol brands. “I don’t think she was aware of the implications when she posted,” the source told Sunday World. A second source told the publication that Moozlie’s management has tried to resolve the matter by having a one-on-one meeting with the Vodka brand in Cape Town. “She is talented and good at what she does, something bigger will definitely come for her. You win some and lose some.”

Sunday World reached out to Sbuda Roc Motloung, Moozlie’s manager but he did not get back to the publication ahead of the article being published. Cruz Vodka confirmed to Sunday World that the working relationship with Moozlie had come to an end. The brand has also wished Moozlie well in her future. “We are disappointed that Moozlie has chosen to partner with an opposition liquor brand. Our strategy is to have long-term exclusive partnerships with our ambassadors. We loved working with Moozlie and wish her all the best for the future,” said the brand’s spokesperson Rachel Pereira.

When the partnership was announced last year Moozlie was very excited about the venture. “This is like a full-circle moment for me. A seed planted over many years has finally blossomed. Cruz Vodka is one of the most forward-thinking brands I’ve ever worked with. From what the team have been able to achieve with AKA to all the exciting things we’ve got planned with Manhattan Blossom, I appreciate that this brand respects the influence & creative genius artists bring to the table. I have no doubt this will lead to more music, more good times, more milestones & more success for the whole team,” the rapper said at the time.
