The award-winning artist during his interview on The Banques and Venom Show, on YouTube, shared that he was entering the alcohol business. During the episode, Cassper gave the hosts Banques and Venom a taste of his drink and shared a few details about the shooter he describes as a “taste of wealth”.
On September 5th, Cassper shared a video clip on his social media accounts, revealing the big announcement he said he would be making. The video was a highly anticipated announcement of Cassper’s new venture. In the video, fans and followers of the rapper finally got to see the bottle and name of Cassper’s new alcohol brand. Cassper shared that Billiato is the name of his new alcohol drink and it has a white and gold bottle. The bottle can be described as simple and elegant.
In the caption, Cassper also shared when his fans can expect ‘Billiato’ to hit store shelves. The musician introduced his latest venture and said, “! I would like to introduce to you, Billiato, a taste of wealth. This is for the dreamers! The future billionaires! Here’s a toast to us. This summer is gonna be lit!!! This is all we gonna be drinking!!! Luxury!!!” The rapper was congratulated by several people, from fans and industry colleagues, such as Nadia Nakai, Kwesta, DJ Dimplez, L-Tido, Khuli Chana and Sean Pages.
The big question on the streets is what is Cassper’s drink exactly. Is it Gin, Vodka or Cognac? The rapper responded to tweeps and said that it is a “taste of wealth”. Cassper during his interview with Banques and Venom got candid and said that his drink can be described as a flavoured spirit and was inspired by a shooter that he enjoys. Cassper’s shooter ‘Taste Of Wealth’ has a Vanilla taste but also consists of different notes to make the taste. One flavour will be launched before more are launched. Cassper scored the deal for ‘Taste Of Wealth’ after his visit to Daytona after the CEO of the distillery reached out to the rapper by leaving his number for the rapper.
“I was at Daytona, that’s when I was driving around in the Rolls Royce and while I was buying this Rolls Royce there was a dude who was buying another Rolls Royce and he left a message for me. “I own such and such distillery and I wanna work with you. A few weeks later, I was in Cape Town with the owner of Daytona and he face-timed the guy, cause they like best friends. Yeah man I’m chilling with Cassper you need to work with him and he was like yeah cool come to my office. Went to that guy’s office and he called someone who is a liquor guru and said ‘Cassper’s trying to make this kind of product and one of the things I was trying to make is like a gin and I was thinking of making a vodka cause of the research I did through Ciroc and I sat with the bosses that own this industry and they said let’s show you the numbers,” the rapper shared during the interview about how Billiato became a reality.
