Cassper Reveals The Role His Dad Played In Him Calling Off His Fight With AKA. South Ah rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest have one of the longest beefs in SA Hip Hop. The long-running beef has played out in the media for fans to witness. Harsh words have been said by the award-winning rapper, with AKA going as far as swearing at Cassper’s mother. Cassper and AKA were meant to get into the boxing ring as a way to resolve their issues but that has been able to happen. AKA went through a tragic event earlier this year and Cassper has previously attributed this to being why his boxing match with AKA could no longer go on.
Cassper has now revealed that there was more to play behind his decision to back out of his fight with AKA. Cassper is gearing up to announce that he is finally going to get in the ring with another celebrity. Answering questions about his upcoming match with the yet to be released person, Cassper revealed that his father played a role in him calling off his fight with Mega. “My dad called me and asked me to let that one go, for him” revealed Cassper. In his tweet, Cassper said that AKA had given him a chase around when he wanted to fight him, there was talk of the boxing match contract being unsigned after it was sent to AKA.
“When I really wanted to fight Aka he kept running & making excuses. Then the unfortunate happened & its just not a good look to fight him now. My dad called me and asked me to let that one go, for him. It’s not the same. I wanted the arrogant shit talking Aka like I want Kaybee,” tweeted Cassper. AKA is not the only popular South Ah artist, Cassper has wanted to take on in the ring, he previously challenged Prince Kaybee but turned into a dead end after Prince Kaybee had a very expensive demand.
Cassper and AKA beef has an intense history, the rapper at one point, even got slapped by AKA. The incident recently was reignited on Twitter and Cassper revealed to his fans that he doesn’t regret walking away from the situation. Cassper remarked that walking away was the wisest thing to do, even though he was a joke on the day. “I don’t regret that day I walked away after being slapped the cheap shot way. It was the wise thing to do. I was a joke that day. I protected my brand and kept it clean. Everything worked out for me. Look at my life dawg!!! IM RICH AF!!! Who’s laughing now?” he tweeted.
