The rapper has been caught up in different waves of debacles. Just after his come back to the limelight the artist is now getting himself into the never-ending debate of the Hip hop and Amapiano. This is the debate that has been going on for quite sometime and its only a matter of time before we see which genre will remain on top it game.

Its not a secret that the Amapiano movement has been embraced throughout al corners of Mzansi and we have witnessed hip hop artists jumping ship to join the movement. Nonetheless, IFani has come out to call all the artists he doesn’t want to see when hip hop takes over Amapiano.

“When Hip-Hop takes over Amapiano We don’t want: Vusi Nova or Snova We don’t want: Nyovest or Blockiato We don’t want: Madumane or Maphori We want LOYALTY. Tweeted IFani.” Nonetheless, even though he called for a truce with Cassper Nyovest, the rapper did not hesitate to call out Cass as one of the people who have jumped into the Amapiano bandwagon.

This is not the first time that the rapper has come out calling to take hip hop to the top. A few days ago he mentioned that he is ready to take hip hop on another level highlighting that the time for Amapiano is over. “Thank you for your amapiano… I’ll be bringing hip hop Back on top. Starting this weekend, We taking over.” Tweeted IFani

The rapper has been missing in action for quite some time. His comeback in the hip hop game came to life after collaborating with Big Xhosa on ‘Ikuku Endala’. Big Xhosa has mentioned the gratitude of working with IFani highlighting that he is so pleased to be working with one of the best in the hip hop game.

“I don’t think there’s anybody as excited as me about this iFani feature. I used to watch him on TV, now he is on my song? I have access to work with a lot of established artists but I preferred iFani. He is a legend to me and will forever be, I don’t care ba nithini!,” said Big Xhosa.
