Cassper is amongst the rappers who have shared their reaction towards the Umlando track. The rapper shared on his Twitter TL that he is glued to the song indicating that he is enjoying the Amapiano track. Yo, I can’t get thay Umlando song off my mind!!!! Yerrrr!!!! Tweeted Cassper.

Not everyone in the hip hop game is sharing the same sentiment with Cassper Nyovest towards the Amapiano track. Producer Makwa has come out and shared what he thinks about the track. The popular producer shared on Twitter taking a dig at the song. He highlighted that the song is an imitation of the late rapper Mpura since everyone on the song was singing like him. “So nonke nizo rapper nje ngoMpura?” Tweeted Makwa.

As if that was not enough, Makwa also mentioned that the he knew sound of the track is not up to par with the original sound. “I Knew it, the beat sounds different and $h*t hai,” Makwa revealed via a Twitter post. The Umlando dancing challenge has gone viral and it’s a clear sign that the song has been embraced despite Makwa claiming the song did not gaining the popularity on its own merit.
