I sold a beat to Shugasmakx for R600 it took him a year to pay me. I used that R600 to throw an event & turned it into 7K. I reinvested 5k flipped that to 15k. Then spent that on Prokid’s performance at my 18th birthday. Then I hosted concert after parties for Akon & 50cent.” Tweeted NOTA.

The hip hop mogul further mentioned that he did all this without any funding from anyone including his father as he wanted him to focus more on his school. No funding. My own father didn’t even back me because he wanted me to fail in business so I could go back to school instead of being an entrepreneur like him. He was mad that I dropped out after he paid my fees in full. I still made it though! He added.

NOTA has been on the center of controversy in SA hip hop. After his split with Kwesta most hip hop followers have been wondering if the two are still in good books. The artist management stated that he did not disintegrate with Kwesta because to his controversial remarks.
