Duncan Set To Receive Honorary Award For His Song ‘Sikelela’ By Spreading More Awareness On Albinism. He may not win awards back to back in the SAMAs or SAHHAs but Duncan’s contribution is never overlooked in KwaZulu Natal. The rapper will soon be getting more flowers for his work courtesy of Masiqoqane Albinisim Foundation.

KwaZulu Natal publication ISolezwe spread the great news that Duncan will be receiving an award of honour from Masiqoqane Albinisim Foundation. The reason for this prestigious giveaway is because of the part he played through his music of spreading awareness on Albinism. This is the second award of honour the rapper has received, the first one he attained from South African Police Service.

“I have just been honoured by SAPS in the awards of the police service because of my music. With the award I was told that my music has a strong message and it builds that’s why I am respected for it. Masiqoqane told me that it will honour me because of my music with a single Sikelela, where I spread awareness on people living with albinism. These awards really make me happy because they are not voted for instead I am specifically selected for them,” said Duncan.

The Dlala Mrepha hitmaker will be honoured on the 7th of November in the presnece of fans and high profile figures.

Duncan alongside Zakwe are working on a joint album set to drop before the year ends.
