The stars from the heart of Johannesburg have announced the release date for the highly anticipated new single featuring the late rapper AKA. Majorsteez, known for their vibrant energy in the SA Hip hop scene took to their social media platform and made a subliminal announcement for their collaboration with the Supa Mega.
The rap duo released a video clip emulating Riky Rick’s “Cishengsposta” stunt during their reveal, concluding with the AKA tagline “This Is For Supervision And Kontrol” echoing in the background. Taking from the video it’s clear that Sandile and Sihle are ready to drop their song with the late rapper AKA. “Watch Till The End & Listen Carefully👂🏾🤐Comment the Artist if you’ve guessed it! DROPPING 27 OCT,” Majorsteez said.
The Major brothers came through the limelight following their collaboration with Cassper Nyovest on their Asbonge remix. The song went on and opened many doors for them in the industry. Despite Cassper’s contribution to their music career, they still maintained that it was AKA who was supposed to be on the remix whom they first met before Cassper.
I remember when Asbonge happened with Cassper, Kiernan was so gracious about it. St first he was like ‘you boys are wrong how are you going to work with Tshibip, I was supposed to be on that song’,” Steez said. “We actually went to his (AKA) crib sometimes and he had the laptop set out already and he wanted to do a remix for Asbonge. He recorded his verse and everything,” Sandi said during an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag.
