The rapper recently released a new song where he mentioned how he has been ill-treated by other rappers in the game. Big Xhosa made it known in the song that Slikour stop posting his work because he refused to do business with him.

Slikour took to Twitter and responded to Big Xhos’s claims. He highlighted that he is fine with the rapper using his brand to shine and he is happy for him. “Truthfully no one in my team even knows I was speaking to Big Xhosa but even if he uses us to shine we happy for him.” Tweeted Slikour.

Responding to Slikour Big Xhosa called the veteran artist that he should stop the idea he has that the rapper is always after clout chasing. Big Xhosa also said that he is okay with being rejected by the South African hip hop culture but he has refused to be called a clout chaser whenever he speaks the truth.

“Slikour stop playing victim. Stop the narrative that everything I say or do I’m chasing clout. Truth is you and the hip hop community don’t consider me as part of your culture and I’m okay with that. But I refuse to be reduced to a “clout chaser” whenever I speak my truth.” Big Xhosa responded to Slikour.

Slikour has been under fire recently after he was also accused by NOTA of exploiting artists. NOTA revealed that he was exploited by Slikour when he worked for him as a social media manager. Baloyi accused Slikour of putting in place a business model that only benefits him and not the artists he promotes.

This is @Slikouron’s business model: He goes to his “inside men” at advertising agencies & in the brand/marketing departments at the few corporations that dominate South Africa. Then he sell the image of artists for their campaigns pockets the profits then pays artists peanuts!” Tweeted NOTA.
