The good news for SA hip hop is that Blxckie has been announced as one of the headliners at the Rocking the Daisies music festival.

For several years, Steyn Entertainment’s Rocking The Daisies has featured both local and international brands, including Black Coffee and the late Riky Rick. This time around Blxckie has become one of the local talents to take up the music festival lineup.

Blxckie‘s spectacular rise came in 2020 during the lockdown period since then the Durban rapper has enjoyed a massive following both local and all over the world. The music festival organisers also made it known that Blxckie will be sharing the stage for the first time with international artists which include Dreamville and Earthgang.

The General Manager for the event expressed her delight in the comeback of the highly-rated music festival. In a statement published on News24, Shannon vowed that the event will continue to attract many good artists around the world in a bid to create a meaningful cultural exchange.
