Ofentse Mwase may have received credit for making good music videos, but the music director also noted that there were times when artists didn’t like his work and he had to make alterations. During the Nkululeko n Cultr Podcast episode, Mwase mentioned that Kwesta’s video was the biggest one that he had to make some changes.

The biggest one was Kwesta one that’s the one I can mention”, he said. Ofentse Mwase mentioned that he had to argue with the Executive Producer because of Kwesta’s superhero-themed music video. “I fought a lot with the guy the Executive Producer Leroy,” said Ofentse Mwase.

“So Kwesta’s Vur Vai was one of the videos that we went back we had to shoot some scenes where he’s fighting these guys, that’s the scene that we had to reshoot.” He said.

The famous director explained that Kwesta didn’t like the original version of the video since it lacked action moments. “I think he was just not happy we don’t have a lot of action, enough action in the video so we went back and reshoot that,” revealed Ofentse Mwase.

Ofentse Mwase further expanded that another music video that he believes an artist didn’t like is the one for Sjava since it has been not been released up to now. “The only other video that I remember an artist didn’t like is the one for Sjava,” he said. “That video is still not out right now, Sjava doesn’t like that video I don’t know, I tried to hit him up and invited him to post this thing,” he expressed.
