Pics! Inside Riky Rick’s 35th Birthday Celebration. Riky Rick might be gone, but the mark he left on his peers, family and friends is still a reflection of who he was. Boss Zonke’s legacy was celebrated on his 35th birthday.
It was Riky Rick‘s first posthumous birthday since he passed away in February. To honour Riky Rick on his birthday through the beautiful works he did to the people around him. Legends Barbershop also took honoured Boss Zonke with a Relaunch of the Barbershop in Waterfalls Corner.
Since Riky always advocated for family values and love they provided 35 free haircuts to individuals who brought a blanket or warm clothes for children at an orphanage in order to give back to the community.
“Thank God for his blessing on us and allowing us to relaunch our Legends Barber Waterfall Corner,” the franchise store wrote on social media. Riky Rick‘s friend Youngsta CPT also graced the event as he performed his recent tribute song to Riky, Dear Rikhado, Love Riyadh.
Also in attendance to celebrate Riky Rick was Moozlie Mabhena, Robot Boii, Stilo Magolide, Cassper Nyovest, and Big Zulu amongst others. Riky gave the world popular songs like Amantombazane, Boss Zonke, and Sidlukotini, but he also left behind many people with warm memories of personal love.
In addition to leaving a musical legacy, one of his major accomplishments was founding the Cotton Festival, which returned in 2022 following a hiatus caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
