AKA and Da L.E.S seemed to have been getting along again. In celebration of Da L.E.S’ 37th birthday, AKA took to Instagram as he showed some cheers to the North god. Supermega could be heard on the video and Da L.E.S amongst other friends tossing shots of alcohol giving a shout-out to his longtime friend and peer in the SA hip hop.

“To the North god, the legendary, the top level, if there was no North god there would be no us, fills from the north, parties from the north under the white house,” AKA said giving a shoutout to the acclaimed rapper.

In remembrance of Riky Rick at the CottonFest, the two rappers reunite live on stage as they squashed their alleged beef. The rappers collaborated on the smash tracks “Real Stuff” and “All Eyes on Me,” with the crowd giving them a massive roar.

Supa Mega took to Instagram to share a video clip of Da L.E.S joining him on stage, which he described as “heartwarming.” In his caption, AKA quoted the lyrics “I was dreaming of the past … and my heart was beating fassst.”

The statement appears in Pusha T’s new song “Dreaming Of The Past,” which features Kanye West. AKA hasn’t mentioned much about the state of his friendship with Da L.E.S. in public. Da L.E.S has previously spoken openly about his feud with AKA. During his interview on “Behind The Story,” he revealed the current state of his relationship with AKA.

“People who know me know I’m a non-confrontational kinda guy, do you know what I’m saying?

“So if I don’t get with your energy anymore, I have to protect my energy first. So that’s where the relationship is right now,” Da L.E.S explained to host Nomalanga Shozi.
