Moozlie Issues A Formal Statement Upon Her Return To Twitter
Moozlie Issues A Formal Statement Upon Her Return To Twitter. As much as social media’s primary use is to communicate on a global scale, the various online platforms have become a hub of bullying and online abuse. SA rappers have been utilizing the platforms to communicate and engage with their cult-like following when it comes to their music.
Even though that has been the case, most of the artists have suffered social media trolls and online abuse with some even quitting certain mediums. Moozlie is one of the several SA celebrities and personalities who have perpetuated an offensive misconception about Twitter.
Mabena admitted in the statement that she fully cut herself off from Twitter in order to safeguard her psychological and emotional well-being. Moozlie has chosen to return to the microblogging App, but she insisted that her handle will be controlled by her administration because of the innovative firms she collaborates with and her other occupations.
“I do hope you guys will not only enjoy these posts but positively support and engage with them too,” she wrote in conclusion. Moozlie might have been a victim of bullying on Twitter, but she has also made blunders that have cost her big contracts with the use of social media.
According to Sunday World publication, Moozlie’s contract was cancelled after the rapper posted a beer brand on her social media platforms. In September of 2020, Moozlie joined the well-known Vodka company. She then shared on social media content from the beer brand Castle Lite, which Cruz Vodka did not appreciate.
βWe are disappointed that Moozlie has chosen to partner with an opposition liquor brand. Our strategy is to have long-term exclusive partnerships with our ambassadors. We loved working with Moozlie and wish her all the best for the future,β said Vodka spokesperson Rachel Pereira.
