Rashid Kay Responds To NOTA’s Claims That He Did Nothing For Big Zulu & Gigi Lamayne
Rashid Kay Responds To NOTA’s Claims That He Did Nothing For Big Zulu & Gigi Lamayne. Rashid Kay is one of the well-decorated personnel in the SA hip-hop fraternity. The veteran rapper has been the one behind the careers of many rappers with notable ones being Big Zulu and Gigi Lamayne.
During an interview with Rashid on her brand new Podcast, she addressed the claims made by NOTA that Rashid did not do anything for her and Big Zulu in their quest to become top SA rappers. “NOTA basically said you had done nothing for me (Gigi Lamayne) for Big Zulu, he was basically downplaying your achievements kind of like you overhyped,” Gigi Lamayne said.
Responding to the claims and if the two have beef, Rashid Kay said; “the only time I spoke to NOTA I think I met him he was still with Kwesta, I met him at the airport in Durban and he did all the talking for the whole two hours.”
Rashid continued by saying that this was not the first time Baloyi had disparaged him and that he had decided not to entertain him because of his mental condition. “It’s not the first time he spoke about me but I’m not gonna try to entertain him, I see a lot of podcasters giving him too much attention but NOTA is not well in the head, he said.
Rashid went on to say that the warning signs are there and that people will act surprised when NOTA commits suicide. “When he commits suicide they’re gonna all act surprised but it’s there, the writing is on the wall, NOTA is not well,” he explained.
During the conversation, the radio DJ remarked that if Baloyi can’t even listen to his wife and family, let alone have disagreements with people in the industry, who is he to say anything and expect him to listen? “I saw Berita’s tweets she said, NOTA doesn’t listen to anyone, why must I say anything to NOTA, he had a fall out with Slikour, he had a fallout with Kwesta, he had a fallout with Makwa, he had a fallout with his own wife Berita, who am I?” Rashid responded.
