Sete has broken many records in the SA music space upon its release. The single quickly went to number 1 in South Africa, becoming the fastest streaming single to go gold in the country’s music history. Taking to Twitter, K.O did not shy away from celebrating the remarkable success of the song.

K.O received a warm reception this past weekend whilst performing Sete, the rapper took to Twitter and expressed his excitement towards the popularity of the song stating the 5 milestones it has reached in a short space of time. K.O claimed in the tweet that SETE is already surpassing his golden era of Caracara.

“Thought Caracara was my biggest moment, God said hold up big dawg! #SETE #1 across all platforms n radio at the same time, crossed double plat on Saturday! Most viral on SA TikTok with no challenge? Video 5 mil in 3 weeks!? #SR3 sitting at #1. When the blessings rain they pour,” he tweeted.

AKA who has also given K.O the run for his money showered praises on the veteran rapper. The Supa Mega admitted that he has been chasing the levels of K.O for so many years as he congratulated him on the success of Sete and his SR3 album.

“An absolute animal. A master of re-invention. My idol amongst idols. I’ve been chasing your level for over a decade now. Your stamina is breathtaking … congratulations.” Tweeted AKA.

K.O admitted in an interview that SR3 might be his last music project as he considering taking a back seat and monitoring the artists at his record label.  “I think as far as creative output, I’ve never been in a better position,” he said. I’m really in a good space as far as creating and just training art. When I started entertaining the idea of this album I was thinking about it in that light that okay cool maybe I might just like you know want to fall back after this one,” said K.O.
