Cassper Airs Big Zulu’s Dirty Laundry In ‘4 Steps Back’ Diss Track
Cassper Airs Big Zulu’s Dirty Laundry In ‘4 Steps Back’ Diss Track. There is a genuine sentiment in SA hip hop that Big Zulu put his life on the line in a bid to save the rap culture in Mzansi. The rapper dropped a ferocious diss track aimed at the entire industry and it sparked a never-ending debate on who has saved the game between him and Cassper Nyovest.
Big Zulu’s 150 Bars has received more than 1.4 million YouTube views and inspired upper-edge wordplay from artists like K.O, Kwesta, and Duncan. Cassper Nyovest was yet to reply to the Nkabi Records boss and he has finally delivered a degrading response to the Zulu rapper.
Cassper hopped into 4 Steps Back with a lot of anger after he did not get his flowers after he claimed that he revived SA hip hop. The rapper took to Twitter and justified he had no other way but to go hard on Big Zulu even if it means airing his dirty laundry in the diss track. I don’t know any other way. “#CassperReply #4StepsBack.” Tweeted Cassper.
Cassper believes that his verse on Ooh Aah sparked the conversation, but all credit went to Big Zulu and that prompted him to come full force with a response.
“This all started with Ohh Ahh verse. Let’s research a lil bit. His song was a reply to that. That why he started with the tag “Ke Hip Hop Dawg”. Anyway, as you were!!!!” Tweeted Cassper.
Nyovest has publicly accused Zulu of being a womanizer on multiple occasions, citing a 2018 assault charge the Imali Eningi singer was given for reportedly strangling his baby momma. “I’ve been in trouble too, had to bribe police even, but the difference is I beat the charges – you beat women.” Says Cassper in his raps. “Endorsement deal ya Carvella? That’s 4 steps back.” “This here is karma for the women you abuse, the situation is as tight as your pants.” Added Cassper.
The rapper may have the backing of some fans who applauded him for releasing a well-crafted diss tune, but some believe otherwise. For some, the effort he put into 4 Steps Back is primarily a badly made diss track that falls short of the bar set by his competitors and did not excite the fans either. Here is how fans reacted to Cassper’s reply to Big Zulu’s 150 Bars.
