Gemini Major Explains How He & Nasty C Made “Juice Back” In 2 Hours. Gemini Major has been a gem of a producer for South African hip hop. One cannot deny him the title of South African producer, having produced for some of the best voices in the country. Think of all the biggest songs in SA hip hop most of them have the Gemini magic touch to them.

With all the rappers that Gemini Major has worked with, the famed rapper and producer have disclosed his close relationship with Nasty C and how the two managed to make Juice Back in a space of 2 hours. Speaking during the ESAM Podcast interview, the famed producer explained the events that took place leading to the making of one of the biggest songs in SA hip hop “Juice Back.”

“I met Junior in 2013, 2014 or something about that time, I was also upcoming also in Durban you know,” he said. “We met at some show you know, and I said yo I’m a fan of your sh*t, I love what you doing, it’s like yo bro I also like to work with you, I was like dawg lets do this sh*t.”

Gemini Major elaborated on how the two teamed up on the creation of Juice Back, saying: “so we do this sh*t, we connect you know, he’s like I sent you something, I had some ideas I exported real quick sent it to him via WhatsApp, two hours later he’s got a song, do you know what that song is; Juice Back, we made that song in less than two hours,” he said.

Nasty C made a major turning point in 2015 when he released his mixtape “price City,” which included the amazing “Juice Back” single. He later went on to record other songs and albums, which increased the popularity of his musical genre and sparked curiosity about the new kid on the block. To this day the Durban rapper has maintained a good reputation in SA hip hop.
