It’s apparent that Amapiano is currently one of the most popular sounds in South Ah, and most artists have attained prominence by performing on the Yanos’ beat. Even though some of the SA rappers are still glued to remaining loyal to the culture.

Rappers like Reason and Focalistic have gotten on the Yanos bandwagon and found success in the genre. Big Xhosa is now the latest rapper who has decided to play around on the amapiano beat with his famous raps. Taking to Instagram, the Ninyile chanter shared the video clip of him dropping raps as he praises his raps on the Yanos beat. “There is too much rap on piano,” he raps.

The 23-year-old rapper also asked his fans whether they would want more of the sound. “LET’s Play… want more of these ? 😅 (Hope ig won’t remove this again🥲),” he wrote. Could he be another rapper to hop on the amapiano bandwagon? Only time will tell if the hilarious rapper will invest much in the genre.

This is not the first time Big Xhosa has hopped onto the amapiano sound. The rapper was once featured on local artist HKS’s song Boyz Boyza Boyzest.

Big Xhosa has had a good year in SA hip hop this year. The rapper has managed to drop his first-ever body of work and he has secured notable collaborations with other rappers. Outside of making music, the rapper has also been active in doing business with big organisations and he managed to secure a brand ambassador deal with the clothing brand FUBU.
