Nasty C & Tellaman Recall Their Worst Memory Of 2020
Nasty C & Tellaman Recall Their Worst Memory Of 2020. The lockdown imposed in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic made life tough not just for regular citizens in Mzansi, but also for artists with celebrity status.
For Nasty C and Tellaman, it was a devastating time as they witnessed how the country went into shutdown after there was massive looting in major cities. During an interview on Ivyson Gaming TV, Nasty C and Tellaman could not hold their emotions as they recounted their worst memories of that time.
“2020 was a mess, I remember this one time we were driving from Durban to Johannesburg, you know. We just came from a gig you know, everything was fine as soon as we get to Johannesburg every place was looted. It was just crazy you couldn’t find anything anyway,” said Tellaman.
Nasty C also described 2020 as the worst memory saying; “2020 was the worst memory period. But if I have to be specific it would have to be the looting,” he said.
The COVID-19 era has not been easy. SA rappers were vocal in their dissatisfaction with how the government handled the lockdown. The likes of Cassper and Kwesta were among the SA rappers who expressed how critical the situation was impacting everyone’s lives including theirs.
“The government has been the cause of some of my darkest thoughts and toughest times. It’s not my niggas. It’s not my “enemies”… It’s them! It’s all of them! The worst part is that they’ll live to see the otherside of Covid and watch all of us go broke and die.” Tweeted Kwesta.
“We are doomed!!! Finished!!! Done!!! Yall stay safe out there. Hope we make it out alive atleast cause our livelihoods are officially gone. Re mo masepeng!!!” Tweeted Cassper.
