Anele Zondo Explains How She Secured A Feature With Blxckie On “Professor Boboza.” SA Hip hop has not been jammed-packed with a lot of female rappers compared to their male counterparts and the cameo of Anele Zondo into the fray is an applaudable move.
Blxckie is one of the well-known rappers with whom Ney has developed relations in her effort to build a name for herself in the industry. The two have worked on a song together titled Professor Boboza which has made waves in the game. In an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag, Anele stated revealed how she managed to secure a feature with Blxckie who has been the most sought-after rapper in the game.
“I know Blxckie right because we have done a couple of events and I’m like bro he’s done my party from last year like a favour and then I do his party to come through with my tag obviously,” she said. “Then I’m like bro, I think I would like to the Ingwe Remix with you because everybody has been asking yo can you do the Ingwe Remix but can you put Blxckie on there.”
Anele asserted that despite having intended to collaborate with Blxckie on a remix, the two instead created a brand-new song called Professor Boboza. “I call him I’m like Blxckie if you want me to chase you around my n*gg im gonna chase you, like what’s happening?”
“He was like nah, im gonna be in Durban for Durban July we’re gonna be setting up there so pull up if you are around. We hooked up when we’re in Durban at a penthouse where he was at there and that’s was the time Professor Boboza came about,” she said.
