Flvme Shares How He Plans To Pay Tribute To Riky Rick At Forthcoming Cotton Fest JHB. The well-known event, which was the innovative concept of late rapper Riky Rick, will once more include live performances on three action-packed stages from both seasoned and fresh-faced local artists.
The Cotton Fest JHB will commence tomorrow and rappers who have been included on the lineup are all geared up to ‘operate something’ and give the people what they want. Flvme is amongst the rappers who will grace the event and the rapper is more than ready to deliver and pay the much-needed tribute to Boss Zonke.
Flvme uploaded a printed t-shirt on Instagram that the rapper may wear for the concert tomorrow. The rapper imprinted a screenshot of a tweet Riky Rick posted prior to his tragic demise. “I’ll return a stronger man. This land is still my home,” read the tweet.
Flvme will also be accompanied by other top-notch local artists who will also grace the event. Nadia Nakai, Cassper Nyovest, Nasty C, Priddy Ugly, and DJ Maphorisa are among the hip-hop heavyweights on the roster. The likes of AKA and Touchline Truth will not be attending the event after they did not agree on terms with the event’s organisers.
The event was created to promote the diversity of numerous popular music genres, with the goal of bridging the barriers between diverse local movements. It also celebrates fashion and recreation. The event will carry on despite Riky’s absence and all that is to keep the rapper’s legacy alive.
