K.O. Drops a Huge Hint Regarding His Upcoming Freestyle

As we heard into 2023, Sete is still topping the radio charts in Mzansi but the rapper is not hanging on to its dominance. Taking to Twitter the rapper acknowledged the success of Sete and announced that SR3’s lead single is going to be diamond very soon.

K.O. has announced that he is going to drop a brand-new freestyle today in the afternoon. The rapper said in his tweet that the freestyle is about getting things off his chest. “Been truly blessed summer 22/23 and #SETE is going Diamond 💿 soon! However, I got a few things to get off my chest futhi ngiqondise iyigwegwe… NEW K.O FREESTYLE 🎼 TODAY 12:00 MIDDAY.” Tweeted K.O.

In the midst of enjoying his win with Sete and SR3 album, K.O. was caught up in the wind of copyright allegations. The rapper was accused of stealing a beat he used on Sete from a Ghanaian artist. With all the commotion that was going on, K.O. took to time and cleared the air stating that he did not steal the beat, rather he bought it online.

“How artists/beatmakers collab in today’s largely virtual music industry. I bought the #SETE beat on an online platform via @Calliemajik‘s page (original producer). Discovered other artists had used it so we replaced some sounds to make mine unique.

“I hold full unlimited rights to the license of the instrumental I bought, which is why the artists who put out their own versions rightfully cannot dispute mine because we’re all governed by the same or lesser copyright. Normal practice in today’s music world,” he explained.
