Shane Eagle Discloses Attributes He Looks For In An Artist When Considering A Collaboration. Music collaboration has shown to be one of the most potent ways for musicians to advance their careers, and SA hip-hop has seen some of the finest collaborations throughout the years.

Even though coming up with a good collaboration song appears to be a piece of cake in the eyes of the audience, the process also comes with its own mishaps and challenges. Rapper Shane Eagle discloses during an interview with Hype Magazine what he looks for in an artist for him to consider a collaboration.

“On your latest single, ‘SKYDREAM’, you surprised fans with the redveil and Monte Booker collab, and on DMF, the list of features is also insane. What do you look for in an artist when considering a collab?” Read the question from the interview

In response, the rapper responded by naming two attributes he looks for which are leadership qualities and confidence. “Well, I love the process of finding artists who I feel are great and not necessarily the most popular; who are leaders and legends in their own right.” Said Shane Eagle.

Shane Eagle rose to prominence in 2017 after appearing on season one of VUZU’s reality show The Hustle. The rapper has won the Best Hip-Hop Album in 2018. The rapper has been making great strides in SA hip hop and he recently bagged a big gig as he is part of the cast for the new upcoming TV reality show Love & Hip Hop SA.
