“The intro is called Last Time” – Fans React To AKA’s ‘Mass Country’ Album Tracklist. AKA’s final music project Mass Country is set to be released this week on Friday. The fans have been offered the chance to sneak peek of what they should anticipate from the slain rapper’s body of work.
Taking to Twitter, AKA’s team that is behind his social media platforms revealed the Mass Country album tracklist and it got everyone on the timeline elated. “#MassCountry TRACKLIST Pre-Add/Pre-Save Now: http://supamega.lnk.to/MassCountry,” read the tweet.
Taking from the tracklist, the album consists of 14 tracks with features from big-name SA rappers. The like of Emtee, Blxckie and Nadia Nakai are some of the features that were yet to be revealed since the rapper has already dropped 3 tracks which feature the likes of Nasty C, Khuli Chana and Kddo.
Not only that the fans are excited about the collaborations that AKA managed to put in place, but there is one specific track that got their attention. The track titled “Last Time” caught the fans’ attention with some declaring that it’s their favourite from the album even though they are yet to listen to it.
At the same time, some fans are interpreting the name of the song in the sense that the slain rapper knew about his death hence the name “Last Time.”
Last week, the rapper’s family issued a statement stating that the album will be released on February 24 as scheduled.
“The family continues to celebrate the life of their son. To honour his legacy, they are choosing to continue with the release of the Mass Country album on 24 February 2023 as planned,” the statement read.
“In the last two years, Mass Country has become AKA’s entire world. The Supa Mega constantly kept the album release momentum and anticipation high.”
Taking to Twitter, AKA’s co-executive producer affirmed that the Supa Mega put his heart and soul into this project. “Kiernan’s Heart & Soul,” he tweeted.
