Not only did the track end the Supa Mega’s music hiatus, but the lead single has also made a massive impact on the music scene. Despite being certified gold, Lemons Lemonade secured 1 million YouTube views in a space of 5 days.

With Mass Country album doing exceptionally on the music charts, Lemons Lemonade album lead single propels its grandeur on YouTube streams. Taking from AKA‘s Twitter account, the track has reached 5 Million YouTube views 6 months after its release. This is something that the Megacy are celebrating despite the absence of their icon Supa Mega. “5 Million Views 🍋🍸 #MassCountry,” read the tweet.

What made Lemons Lemonade a special song is how the two rappers managed to curate a great connection in their collaboration. Nasty C has always had great articulation, which has helped him establish himself as one of South Africa’s premier Hip-Hop performers.

Even though he made an exceptional impact on the song, Nasty C admitted that he was very sceptical about hopping on a song with the slain rapper AKA.  “Not that I wasn’t trying to jump on it I was like, I was very unsure if I was gonna be able to deliver you know, obviously it’s not my kind of sound,” he said.

“I was like yo, I don’t know, jumping on that type of sound with someone who is pretty much the god of that sound is tricky, I don’t know if would be able to match this type.” Nasty C added.

AKA managed to put in place a great album in Mass Country and his integration to collaborate with various artists like Khuli Chana, Blxckie, Yanga Chief and many others made his posthumous project a special one.
