Da L.E.S Reacts To Claims That AKA’s Industry Friends Are Not Putting Effort In Fighting For His Justice. The #JusticeForAKA movement gathered traction on Twitter earlier this month after AKA was shot in Durban in February. The initiative has been put in place with the intention of stepping into the hunt for the assassins.

Since the hashtag’s inception, there has been a dearth of engagement from SA rappers and AKA‘s industry friends. This has left many fans disappointed as they expect influential people in the industry to put pressure on law enforcers to apprehend the culprits.

Responding to the claims, Da L.E.S took to Twitter and defended AKA‘sclose friends who are quiet on social media about his justice. The North god defended AKA’s friends’ silence by asserting that not all individuals experience grief in the same way.

Crazy world we living in. How do y’all really be thinking they took my man’s? What’s the motive? Everyone don’t grieve the same. Please leave them alone they been through a lot. I’m just as angry and also want answers but not in this direction please 🙏🏾 Love.” Tweeted Da L.E.S.

Amongst the Supa Mega’s close allies, Rich Mahogany is the one who joined the #JusticeForAKA movement on the Twitter timeline. Rich Mahogany posted questions of his own that he believes will help the police to find the people behind AKA’s killers.

“The question is a very simple one. Who hated Kiernan enough to have him killed? Who had motive? Who has resources? I think if we can get those answers we will be closer. Who did he upset? We need answers,” he tweeted.

Despite the fans’ growing dissatisfaction with the police’s efforts to apprehend the culprits, Minister Bheki Cele informed the public that progress is being made in Kiernan’s case. “Maybe things that I am not supposed to say. But one of them I can, we have collected many cellphones that we are working, download and all that kind of thing, trying to patch and knit things together. That is the last I received yesterday (Monday, 6 March 2023) at about 10 pm.” He said.
