Baby S.O.N Explains How “CROWN” Ft Emtee & Manana Sets The Tone During The Making Of Mass Country Album. AKA’s Mass Country album succeeded as predicted, with the late rapper’s final project delivering a bevvy of smash tracks.

In the midst of the album’s production in KZN, Baby S.O.N, who was among the writers, described what it was like to work on Supa Mega’s project. This came after he was asked to describe what was the peak moment during the production of Mass Country. “Obviously, when you check out Mass Country you like widely credited on the project, but what are the peak moments for you?”

In response, Baby S.O.N said that he marvelled at the first song they did at the camp which was Crown featuring Emtee. “First song we did at the camp, track three, Crown,” he said. “You know what happened with that song, even the way that camp was structured, that was the most genius thing I’ve ever seen.“

He added; “so there was a main room downstairs, where songs were finished and then there were smaller bits and pieces of rooms where projects are being started. So I think it was 15 Chrysler, they started the song upstairs, so I go upstairs and it’s moving. AKA being AKA, takes the melody and first two lines and switches it up.”

Crown ft Emtee has been one of the most streamed songs on Mass Country. The track has garnered over 700K Spotify streams and over 800K views on YouTube.
