The music giants from Bergville have decided to take it upon themselves to show that prominent artists can work together on a music project. Taking to their social media accounts, Sjava and Big Zulu have announced that, not only are they working to release a project together, but they have partnered in a duo called Inkabi Zezwe.

In a bid to offer their fans the feel of what they should expect from their body of work, the two big stars have announced that they will be dropping a new single “Umbayimbayi” off their project titled. Taking to Twitter, Rashid Kay who is a close colleague of the rappers confirmed that the single will be dropping on the 24th of March. The veteran rapper also stated that the collaborative album will make its way to the public on the 12th of May.

Wrong information: 1. The album is called “Ukhamba” dropping on the 12th of May. 2. “Inkabi Zezwe” is the name of the duo. 3. “Umbayimbayi” is the single dropping on the 24th of March.” Tweeted Rashid.

Sjava is one of the rappers who has spoken out about the importance of artist collaboration, therefore it is not surprising that he has joined forces with his fellow rapper Big Zulu. Sjava claimed in an interview on SlikourOnLife that people currently want to watch musicians fight rather than collaborate and that it is the obligation of artists to converse more.

“This generation likes to see people fight, but at the same time when guys come together a lot of people will be happy than the ones who are happy when you fight,” he said. “So the issue of collaboration is very important, I always tell the guys to collaborate more, no one has his own fans, people listen to all of us so people want to see us working together,” he added.
