AKA On Why He Dropped Three Singles At Once Instead Of A Full Album. When AKA dropped three singles in one day, many people thought he was overdoing it. Knowing him as the man always behind a plan, Mega shared his reasons of the triple-release.

AKA dropped Energy feat. Gemini Major, Monuments feat Yanga Chief and Cross My Heart. Recently he let loose visuals for Energy, an introduction to more work he is pressing on with Gemini.

During an radio interview (Kaya FM) visit via phone with Sizwe Dhlomo, Kiernan explained a lot of things from alcohol banning, fans and trolling to the music he delivers. The highlights included his explanation on the songs he released in one day.

“If you looking at the times we living on with the pandemic, a lot of people at home. People need music, people need inspiration and the people need something from the heart like in a set of a song. South African hip hop is on a transitional phase. And I’ve always been that person to come up with quality music, something to say and something to get off my chest.

“Dropping three singles was really about – if you take those three singles that’s really one single in the run-up to my album. The album is gonna come out in the next few months.”

Energy visuals available on YouTube.
