Ex Global Recalls When A-Reece Defended Him From Critics Regarding His Music
Ex Global Recalls When A-Reece Defended Him From Critics Regarding His Music. A-Reece and Ex Global enjoyed a good relationship during their time as The Wrecking Members. Their relationship took a knock leading to the split of the most promising group in SA Hip-hop.
Even though their relationship is unstable, Ex Global has acknowledged A-Reece’s support during a difficult spell in the rap game. Taking to Twitter, the Till The Casket Drops chanter said he remembered the time when people criticized his music on social media, and A-Reece was the only one who came through and defended him from trolls.
“Back in the day when people used to laugh at me on Twitter, I’m talking the whole of SA at that time, regarding my music. The only person who wrote a paragraph to defend me was A-Reece, I’ll never forget,” tweeted Ex Global.
Recently, Ex Global raised eyebrows after his tell-all interview addressing how the TWC split. The rapper also criticized Reece’s music stating that the Paradise hitmaker has not released good music compared to his days at TWC.
“As a fan, I haven’t been impressed, I’m talking about the records, I’m talking about the Holding Hands, I’m talking about those types of records,” he said. “I’m giving you a solid perspective, on iTunes it’s Holding Hands, the biggest one, the second one is Meanwhile In Honey Dew, and the third one is Five Year Plan as I said. Trust me this is not a hate level, this is not anything like that.” He said during an interview on Choppin’ It With Budha T podcast.
